Planning and Consultation Fee

The planning and consultation fee varies per itinerary based on the number of persons, duration and complexity. 

This fee includes: 

• The research and planning of one trip with specific dates and destinations. 

• Full access to me regarding travel related questions and advice prior, during and after travel. 

You will also receive the following:

* Accommodations, transportation and activity recommendations & package quote based on your interests and needs. 

* Up to 2 revisions of itinerary (Additional revisions incur $25 revision fee per revision)

* 1 final itinerary

* Upon approval of final itinerary: booking of accommodations, transportation, activities and where applicable.

* Full support before, during, and after your trip for all bookings.

This non-refundable planning fee covers my time in researching the options, planning your day to day itinerary to your level of comfort and desires and arranging services with my suppliers. When you retain my services as your trusted travel advisor, I get to work re-confirming all reservations, sending you detailed confirmation materials, contacting the providers with your personal requests and acting as your advocate before, during, and after your trip.

It is the responsibility of the user and all passengers to read and accept the TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie 

By providing final passenger booking information and payment for your travel arrangement you are agreeing to all terms and conditions of the travel suppliers and those of TDS Travel Services Inc DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie, Traveldesigned.com .

 Once payment has been posted changes incur fees on a case by case basis and are the responsibility of the travelers. Please review your reservations and invoices very carefully to ensure the names, dates and all arrangements are correct.  

It is also the responsibility of all travelers  to read the rules and regulations of the tour company in which you are purchasing travel services from  the  tour operator rules and regulations during the booking process.

PRICING AND CONTENT

Travel Designed reserves the right to charge various service fees on all itineraries.  Some of the types of service fees include cancellation, custom itinerary planning, airline tickets, changes when allowed, group comps. These service fees are nonrefundable. The fee will be based on the itinerary and at the discretion of Travel Designed. 

• In the event of Best Price Guarantee and price match adjustments, there is a per person service fee in the amount of 15% of the price adjustment or $20, whichever is greater. 
• Cancellations incur a 15% fee of the total invoices. 
• Custom itinerary planning, changes, group comps and airline ticket service fees are on a case by case basis.  
• These fees are not covered by insurance. 

All prices are in USD dollars unless otherwise stated. Airport fees and baggage fees, where applicable, are not included in the pricing. All prices  are subject to change without prior notice. Any changes in pricing that may occur before, during or after a purchase, as a result of a tour operator and/or airline change, are not the responsibility of  TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie. 

Once a booking is complete, any pricing adjustments or changes will incur a 15% change fee plus supplier fees.

Pricing and availability on all packages and flights is not guaranteed until issued. 

Any prices quoted are not guaranteed and are subject to change at anytime. Should there be a discrepancy in quotes provided by TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie  and that of the actual tour operator and/or airline selling price, the later shall prevail.

Important: If the price of a product is quoted incorrectly, the tour supplier reserves the right to cancel the reservation and a refund of the monies will be processed immediately.

These Terms and Conditions are applicable to all users of the website and traveling companions.  By using this website you and your companions agree, without modification, to the terms and conditions listed and to the terms and conditions of the respective tour company in which you are booking your travel services.

Users of the Traveldesigned.com website shall be referred to as 'the customer' in these Terms & Conditions.

Responsibility

TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie hereby known in these terms and conditions as Traveldesigned and Traveldesigned.com  has the same responsibilities as a travel agency, as such it offers the service of providing travel information and reservations, as provided by various third party suppliers, to the customer.

You, the customer, must be at least 18 years of age in order to purchase travel services from Traveldesigned.com. Users of this website must agree to all of the terms and conditions listed on this page in order to use this website.

TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie  makes every effort to make sure that images on this website are as close a representation as possible but cannot be held responsible for changes beyond our control. Hotel and destination images on this website and in your itinerary are representational only and cannot be guaranteed completely accurate.

PAYMENT

 Flight and vacation package purchases are 100% non-refundable. Travel insurance is STRONGLY recommended.

Third party credit cards bookings may require written confirmation from the credit card holder. Any fraudulent purchase will be investigated and prosecuted.

CONFIRMATION AND DELIVERY

After a purchase is made, the customer will receive an email confirming their purchase. This email will contain a copy of all the information that the customer entered for the booking, such as passenger names and contact information. It is the responsibility of the customer to verify that the information on the confirmation email is in accordance with the travel product that they have purchased. Any changes required after a payment has been posted including  incorrect information and/or spelling mistakes during the booking process may result in additional change fees as imposed by the tour operator and/or airline and are the responsibility of the travelers.

FLIGHT TIMES, TOURS, CRUISES  AND CONFIRMATION 

Flight, tour and cruise schedules are subject to change as per the supplier terms and conditions. These schedule changes are beyond the control of  and as such,TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie cannot be held responsible for any missed flights or disrupted travel plans due to airline flight schedule changes. In the event of a flight, tour or cruise schedule change, if notified by the supplier, TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie will send a schedule change notice to the customer. Customers should reconfirm all of their flight, tour and arrangement times at least 24 hours prior to departure to ensure that no last minute changes have occurred. 

AIRPORT CHECK-IN

It is strongly recommended that all passengers arrive at least 3 hours prior to departure for check-in and to ensure adequate time to pass through airport security. Check-in counters typically close 1 hour prior to departure. Any passengers attempting to check-in within 1 hour to departure time will be denied boarding and not provided any refund or alternate options. Please, remember to check your flight itinerary for your departure airport and terminal and reconfirm your flight and check in times 24 & 12 hours prior to departure with your airline.

BAGGAGE and SEAT FEES

Most airlines charge for seat assignments and baggage. Some airlines charge for carryon. These fees are not included in your arrangements unless expressly listed on your invoice and are at the traveler's expense. 

TICKET DELIVERY

The majority of travel tickets are now in the form of electronic tickets (etickets). Etickets will be emailed to the email address provided by the customer at time of booking. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that any emails received from TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie do not get deleted or held by email spam filters or junk folders. Customers should amend their email settings to ensure that emails from TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie are delivered correctly to their email program. TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie is not responsible for any problems or miscommunications that may arise due to email delivery failures.

DOCUMENTATION and IDENTIFICATION

It is the responsibility of the customer to obtain all the necessary documents, such as passports and visas, required to gain entry into the country of destination. Obtaining passports and visas may require lengthy processing times, it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all required documentation is received before travel departure.

IMPORTANT 

Children 18 and under traveling alone or with only one parent MUST have a notarized letter of authorization signed by the parent who is not traveling or if both parents are not traveling with the child, this note must be signed by both parents. This rule currently applies for, but is not limited to, travel to Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

CANCELLATION

Flight reservations and travel arrangements  may be 100% non-refundable. Depending on the airline and supplier , many flights and arrangements are 100% non-refundable once the reservation is made or will involve cancellation or change fees. If you have questions regarding cancellation policies of a specific airline or arrangement, please contact us BEFORE making your reservation. Once a reservation is made it is bound by the rules and restrictions of the airline and supplier.

Vacation package and travel arrangments may be 100% non-refundable. All purchases are non-changeable and non-transferable. Name spelling corrections are subject to fees determined by the tour operator that you have made your reservation with. IF the tour operator allows changes or cancelations, penalties will apply on a case by case basis.   

Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

INSURANCE

For every sale, TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie recommends to purchase travel insurance to help cover the customer against any unforeseen circumstances that may occur prior to, during or after your trip. There are different types of insurance packages available and the purchase of insurance is an optional decision to the customer. TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie highly recommends purchasing travel insurance.

It is the customers responsibility to read and familiarize themselves with the travel insurance policy to understand what their purchased travel insurance covers and under what conditions. If the customer wants to make an insurance claim it is their responsibility to obtain documentation, receipts and to contact TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie as soon as possible. Please contact us if you require more information regarding travel insurance and claim procedures.

OWNERSHIP

All the contents within this website are the property of TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie and/or its third party suppliers. This website is intended for personal use only and is not to be used for commercial purposes. None of the content found on this website may be reproduced, republished, displayed, distributed, modified, sold, or transferred without the written consent of TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie.

This website is to be used to gather information on travel-related goods and service and to make legitimate purchases and/or reservations. This website may not be used to make any false, fraudulent, or speculative purchases and/or reservations.

JURISDICTION AND LEGALITY

The Traveldesigned website is controlled by TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie from the office in Freeport, Illinois.  TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie  does not divulge customer information to third parties, however, we may do so if required to by government or law enforcement authorities, court order, or to protect the rights and/or properties of TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie. Some suppliers require email and phone information. TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie has no control over their use of your information. 

THIRD PARTY SUPPLIERS

All travel arrangements, packages, airfares and hotels purchased through TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie are supplied  by various third party suppliers (tour operators) and in turn are subject to their own Terms & Conditions. 

TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie is a seller for the third party suppliers and is in no way responsible for incidents brought upon or caused by any of the third party suppliers.

When the customer purchases travel services through TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie they must refer to the appropriate third party suppliers Terms & Conditions. It is the responsibility of the customer to refer to the appropriate third party supplier for the Terms & Conditions that are specific to their travel services.

TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie cannot be held liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature whatsoever whether to person or property that may arise from the purchase of any travel services through this website. By purchasing travel services through TDS Travel Services DBA Travel Designed by Stephanie, you, the customer, hereby understand and agree without modification to the terms and conditions listed above.
