Video of the day: Quintana Roo

#2011FamVaca the hashtag to follow

In honor of our #2011FamVaca (family vacation hashtag on twitter) we are featuring a video in Quintana Roo,Mexico. We are with our family staying at the Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort and Spa in the state of Quintana Roo. There is so much to see and do here! The coastal area between the Cancun airport and Tulum, where the only Mayan seaside fortress was built, is called the Riviera Maya. Coba, another very important archeological site is only about 30 minutes from Tulum.  There is the nature reserve of Sian Ka’an which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site to explore.  The eco-park of Xcaret has enough cultural, nature activities and swimming  in cenotes to fill 2 days of your vacation. Xel-ha is centered around exceptional nature, birding, marine life encounters and snorkeling experiences. We will be going to swim with the whale sharks during our #2011FamVaca.  Playa del Carmen offers shopping, dining and an exciting nightlife. We always try to catch the entertainment at  Fusion. Of course, there are  miles and miles of white sand beaches to enjoy also!   ….and we haven’t even mentioned CANCUN!

Our son in law, Mike said he wanted to sleep all day on vacation. Our  VERY SMART 11 year old grandson, Jack. told him,” Dad you’re going to miss A LOT!

This video was produced by the Mexico tourism board.
