Video of the Day: Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Penisula of Mexico

Chichen Itza, in the Yucatan peninsula of Mexico, is definitely where you will find me on my next

visit to Cancun and the Riviera Maya.

The Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site

and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.

Have you been to Chichen Itza? What travel tips do you have for the Yucatan?

Nice images shown. Chichen Itza is a very nice place to visit! Weather is intensey humid and VERY warm, but lovely! I would like to add the info that cenotes are not just "pools": They are made-by-nature =) Thats a big difference, thats why theyre so special 🙂 I just wanted to clear that up coz I dunno what tourists in general would imagine they are, as they are not shown in this video
    🙂
