#TTOT Travel Talk on Twitter

#TTOT is Travel Talk on Twitter

#TTOT is the newest travel talk on twitter. The travel talk takes place on Tuesdays. There are 2 sessions 9:30am GMT and 9:30pm GMT, which is 3:30pm CST and 3:30am CST. Five questions are tweeted in about an hour, but the fun can go on as long as the chat continues. The worldwide hosts tweet a question every 10 minutes.  Jump in anytime and join the fun! I will be tweeting live at 3pm and schedule the questions for the 3am session but you should see live participants at that time from around the world. 
We want your participation; this is a travel community event! A new theme will be announced each week. During the week, please post your questions for the theme and suggest themes on the Facebook page. If you are lucky, your question or theme will be used during #TTOT and you will be credited.  #TTOT is all about fun, sharing, learning and community. #TTOT doesn’t accept paid sponsorships.
To join the fun, just search #TTOT on twitter or in your organizer (i.e. seesmic, hootsuite, tweetdeck). If you aren’t on twitter but want to follow along you can use  tweetgrid.com or sign in to tweet through it.
As a regular host, I pledge:
 
1) To be as open as possible.
 
2) To take all criticism and ideas with the utmost seriousness and respect. I take my position as a leader in the internet travel community seriously and promise to do my best not to violate that trust.
 
3) I won't use your tweets for any outside publication without your knowledge and consent. You might find your tweets included in recaps. Recaps should link people back to your Twitter account. If you don’t want your tweets used in a recap or you didn’t receive a link back, you’ll need to contact the blogger to request removal.
